How does it work?
The air to water generators that we sell utilizes the technology of condensing air into water using patented technology. Each unit is employed with a 3-4 0r 4-6 air and water filtration process making water that is above the WHO and national standards.
How do I make sure I have enough water throughout the year?
We recommend you use secondary storage to stockpile water and then have a second source lined up for times you have increased water demand during the dry season. Contact a rep to build out your specific annual water strategy.
How does the weather affect production volume?
Warm air can hold more moisture than cold air. Thankfully in the Caribbean we have the optimum condition for maximum water production. An average temperature of 80 degrees and a relative humidity of 80%.
What does it cost to operate?
At Smart Water 4U we recommend using one of our Air-to-Water generators as a part of your overall water strategy, alongside another source of water like your cistern or traditional water delivery. Chat with a representative to model your costs based on your electrical rates. Additionally, solar energy can be used to support the use of the water generator.
How much water do I need?
For drinking and cooking use, the average person uses 1-3 gallons per day.
How energy efficient is the machine?
The water generators that we sell are highly efficient. Model efficiency is impacted by the size of the model. Efficiency ranges from 30L for 1kWh to 2.1L for 1kWh, operating under the condition of 80% humidity and 30 degrees.
How is the machine delivered?
All water generators are safely delivered and can be professionally installed by our trained representatives or installed by you with instruction tips.
Where is the most optimal place to put the machine?
The size of the unit needs to be factored in determining the best location. In general, the water generator can be set anywhere convenient as long as the machine has access to and is not obstructed from fresh air.
Trouble Shooting
Inadequate Water Production
Check that the water generator has direct access to air flow and the vents are not obstructed by dust.
Check that the water dispenser is not blocked.
Compressor Malfunction
Check that the plug is fully inserted into the wall.
Make sure that the surrounding temperature is between 5°C and 43°C
Check to see if the water tank is full. The compressor will not activate if the water tank is full.
The machine is very loud when powered on
Check that the machine is standing on a flat an even surface, and that all four legs are evenly supporting the machine.
Water Leakage
Make sure the machine is standing no less than 30°, and optimally perfectly horizontal on a flat and even surface.
No water when the Cold Water button is pressed.

If the Water Level indicator Light is flashing red, please allow the machine time to produce water.
No water when the Hot Water button is pressed
If the display shows and error, please contact Customer Support.
If the Water Level indicator Light is flashing red, please allow the machine time to produce water.
The child lock does not unlock when it is pressed
If the display shows an error, please contact Customer Support.
The Purification Indicator light is off
This usually happens when the internal water tank is full. The light will turn back on when the tank is empty.
Cold water dispenses when the Hot Water button is pressed
The temperature sensor of the hot water tank is damaged, please contact Customer Support.
